Thank you to everyone who visited us and had their winkles warmed @babylon.eco Christmas Market last weekend. It was our first ever Christmas market and we had a great time meeting people and showing you what we do and who we are. It was also lovely to meet the other stall holders and hear about all the great local produce and crafts from the area. If you didn't manage to grab the recipe for our mulled wine then we will be posting it here and on the website this week so don't worry! Looking forward to the next one! We will be serving Winkle Warmers and selling mulled wine at the Fairwarp Christmas market at Fairwarp Village Hall on Saturday 14th December 🎄🎄🎄.
We've been busy crafting our new mulled wine recipe, perfect for warming your winkles this festive season! 🌲☃️ We will be serving our special Winkle Warmer mulled wine at @babylon.eco Christmas market next weekend 23-24th November. We will be there serving mulled wine and you can grab a bottle of our organic Bacchus. We will also be giving out recipe cards for our mulled wine so you can make it yourself at home! 🌲☃️
And just like that this year's crop is harvested and off to the winery! 2024 has been our most challenging year yet. Firstly building a new barn, followed by record levels of rainfall and not much sun here in East Sussex. It has been a long hard year to get to this point but we made it all in one piece! Thank you to all of our volunteers that came to help us harvest and spent the day meticulously checking every bunch before it was sent away. The quality of the wine we can make from this years crop will be a testament to the hard work and concentration you all put in, we appreciate it very much. We have plenty of exciting things coming up before Christmas. We will be attending our first Christmas Markets around Sussex so watch this space for news on where you can come and try some of our excellent Organic Bacchus and have a chat. There also might be something new brewing for 2025. . . Bring it on!
